I Love saltburn it's really worth a visit The cliff tram is running.
Quite a few coffee shops, I'd recommend signals cafe and no 23 if you want an authentic pizza and a beer that doesn't open till 4pm on week days and 12 Saturday and Sunday.
The carpark near the pier is pricey but the Catnab is reasonable but generally quite busy I'd park at the top for free and walk down.
Blue flag beach and lots of surfers, you can hire surf gear and even get a lesson.
Seaview chippy is great , and very reasonable, enjoy your visit.
There's a small amusement acarade on the pier
The sea at the moment is quite rough but the ship inn is a great pub.

Awesome place Saltburn and you gotta check out the pier and water lift. Lovely beach and great local people and shops in the area with a cracking chippy. Great place for famalies and kids day out.

It was my first time in Saltburn, and I loved it, a proper Victorian seaside town. The pier was a nice walk out but didn’t offer any shelter on a typical winter’s day. The cliff side tram to the town doesn’t operate in winter but I’ll be trying that when I next go, as we will certainly be making a return visit. Fabulous beach, dog friendly.

Pier with amusement arcade at the front- you can bypass the amusements by walking either side. Great views and it's fresh!

It’s nice to come and try the cable car ride it’s a oldie place to visual a walk round the gardens and walk ways a relaxing place

Brilliant little walk. Even in rough seasons and winds. People fish off the end, but no idea if it's a good spot for it.

Great old pier to stroll along, nice views, and nice beach!! Car park free after 6pm.

I really enjoyed this beach and the facilities and amenities on the pier. I would definitely recommend visiting at any time. Sandy beaches, rocky beaches and a good fish and chip shop is a definitely a good reason to go. Beautiful scenery.

Saltburn pier is a fabulous part of history situated opposite the famous funicular, you can enter the pier via the arcade or walk around the outside entrance. The walk is enchanting taking in huntcliff, tidal changes , view out to sea or looking back at promenade of cafe, fish n chips crazygolf an array of coloured beach huts then taking in the view of the cliff top houses & landscaped gardens . The pier surrounded by history adds to the joy of a day at the beach . The craftsmanship as you walk on the beach under the pier how the structure withstands years of tidal changes & the limpets etc that attach themselves . Saltburn pier is a magical piece of engineering & history

Nice to see an old pier with original appearance. Great views along the coast and good for watching surfers. Right next to the (working) funicular railway too! Lots of cafes and restaurants around this area too. Great place to take in on a coastal walk with a lovely long beach.
